A WORD FROM
OUR PASTOR
We are pleased to be able to
share with you what we believe and teach at Grace Bible Church.
But before we do, would you allow us to share something with you
about yourself?
First of all, God says that
you are important to Him. In fact, you are so important that He
sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty of death for you.
"For God so loved the
world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16, Romans 10:10)
This was necessary because
as a member of the human race, you are guilty of sin, and are
under the penalty of death (that is, eternal separation from
God).
"For all have sinned and
come short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:23 and 6:23)
The good news (or gospel) is
that your sins have been paid for by Jesus Christ.
"But God commendeth His
love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us."
(Romans 5:8,
II Cor. 5:21)
And that you can now have
eternal life by receiving Jesus Christ as your savior.
"But to as many as
received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on His name."
(John 1:12,
Romans 10:13)
I hope that
each one reading this can say with assurance that they
know for a fact where they will spend eternity. If you are unsure
on this matter, please ask me or one of our other committed
Christian workers to share God's plan of salvation with you.
